Nicola Formichetti is the popular stylist who is Mugler's creative director. In January, Nicola dropped the “Thierry” and debuted the revamped Mugler line to almost unanimous praise. He is also the fashion director for and best friend of Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga, who walked in Mugler's recent runway show, brings it more attention than it ever could get without her, which is not a bad thing for a newly revived brand.

Formichetti even told the International Herald Tribune's Suzy Menkes, who wrote that Gaga upstaged everyone else on that runway.
